Bull Run #5 (Bull's 60th Birthday Run), Sunday 9/11

As many of you know, next Tuesday 9/13 I turn 60. What better way to celebrate than to do something I really enjoy. The weather for Sunday is looking very good. This is a "Best Of" run which includes a lot of the best roads from the previous runs, both tunnels and an incredible brunch at the destination. I had to do the tunnels since I had the custom exhaust put on my "Rolling Eggplant" :D

These runs are by invitation only and limited to 16 cars including me. If you are interested in taking part in future runs send me your info including car type to: bull_30@verizon.net

Sunday's run is booked but if you want to get on the reserve list in case of a cancellation drop me a message or an email. Meeting directions have been sent to all those attending.

Happy Coming Birthday!

Ken, I know I keep promising and I'll try my best to attend. Still remember the times in the Speed Yellow back in 2006 and meeting you for the first time, I think you had a white Cayman S back then :). I miss the Rennlist meets, so much better than what's around these days, hence me not bothering with meets anymore.

If I can make it I'll email you and good idea starting a new thread, hopefully the twats will stay out of this one.

I will be there.

Ken, you planning a prerun Saturday? Some of these roads wash out on an average rain. Can only imagine how they all look after a week.

Ken just wanted to wish you a happy birthday and good luck on the run :)

I just got home from running the route this morning. The roads look good and for the most part had already dried out.

See everyone tomorrow at the meeting place.

Thanks to everyone that participated in Bull Run #5. Here's a link to some photos: http://s1200.photobucket.com/albums/...Run%209-11-11/

I think half the cars had GoPros attached so there should be some very interesting videos posted soon.

Craptastic Video and a dearth of Pictures.

Here is a video.

The bad: mounted it on the front of the roof... not a great vantage point, I think; the wind noise is much more than when mounted on the front bumper; this new GoPro has a 'ticking' noise that gets tiresome (the 'old' GoPro now being at the bottom of the Chesapeake Bay after a sailing adventure); I got a bunch of bug strikes that dotted up the lens; the inner lens started to fog up midway through the drive; I still can't get a good rendering of the video form the original MP4 format (R3 on the GoPro) using Adobe Premiere Elements.

The good: at least this video is short.
