2014 Katie's Cars & Coffee - Great Falls, VA
Katie's, 03/01/14
The first Saturday in March. 17 degrees, clear, no wind. ...but, the streets are dry, with not too much salt & grit. As we now know, that's all a large group of us need to go out to Katie's. Plenty of snow still around, near the parking lot.

No snow since Monday, and much of the snow, salt and sand was off the streets. The morning started at around 32 degrees, and quickly warmed up. A good amount and variety cars were at Katie's.
The Murano convertible deserves special mention, because it's the only car I can think of with two rear windows. It may be the spiritual successor to the Pontiac Aztek.

I have a friend who has a car worthy of Katie's but lives in Albany. He is actually looking to sell it. I almost want to suggest he bring it down to see if there are any interested buyers but it may actually double his miles on the car after restoration to get here. What do you guys think?

You might start by asking the 1-2 other Rover drivers who attend if you can put fliers on their cars or hang out around them and hand some out to interested onlookers. If you bring it, I would trailer it. But in this day of Internet car searches, Cars.com and eBay are probably more effective in reaching potential buyers. Must be a club to advertise through too, right?
BTW to keep on the theme of this thread - here is to some good weather for Saturday!
