Can anyone tell me what this car is? My cousin and her son visited last weekend and saw it at Katie's.

The Bill Thomas Cheetah was a sports car designed, engineered entirely with American components, and built from 1963 to 1966 by Chevrolet performance tuner Bill Thomas. It was developed as a competitor to Carroll Shelby's Cobra.

Cheetah

Yep - this is a Cheetah replica. The seat is practically on top of the rear axle.

Katie's, 07/07/18

This morning was as close to perfect as I can imagine! 66 degrees, just a slight overcast early, and no possibility of rain... this is one of the mythical DMV "three good days a year" I've always heard about!

Who knows what that last car is? (If you didn't see it yesterday, who knows when you will see one again?)

Yep - Aston Martin Zagato. Over the years, I have seen three separate Aston Zagatos at Katie's - two roadsters, one coupe with the 'double bubble' top. All beautiful!

Katie's, 07/14/18

A beautiful morning at Katie's. Sorry to say, the fun ended just after 8:00AM when the driver of a McLaren was involved in an accident (I don't have details), and the driver was medivac helicoptered out. (Boochok posted some pics and a video, separately, in this section.)

Let's all be extra careful out there!

Bob - thx for keeping this alive! Let’s meet up next time in Katie’s. I’m in a white 997.1 GT3.

I'm happy to keep posting, as long as people will look at the posts.

I'm always up front, with my car facing the front door of Katie's... ...in either my Caterham or my Elise. (I had both there today.)

Katie's, 07/28/18

A great-weather Saturday morning, with predictably good turnout at Katie's.
