My C63's new car buddy.
 

My newest addition to the car family: 2010 JCW, punched leather, aero kit, conv. package, rear fogs, h&k sound, suede steering wheel, funky rear spoiler. Now to decide who gets parked in the carport! (the dog has a indoor room spot):)

Argh! Those orange reflectors! I'm currently working on fixing mine - Gotta take them out (which i have no idea how to as of yet) paint them flat black and pop me back in

Re: reflectors. I was so yucked by the them, I grabbed a wide tip Sharpie and slapped 3 coats of that on them the day I got it. :p

I put Eibach's on to rid the 4x4 look too.

The only time I notice "streaks" on the reflectors is in direct sun. At night you see the main bulb hole, if you will, shining through the Sharpie ink. It is a lease so I am not throwing more than I have to in her. The springs were mandatory though.

Best DD I have ever had. 29 MPG in the city with a size 13 ramming down the pedal most of the time! Park anywhere and scoots through traffic like a scalded cat.

I figure a quick swipe of solvent will remove the ink when needed. You may want to do a small test area to verify this and give it a whirl.

You have to go with either fast strokes or slow deliberate strokes with the Sharpie. It is weird. The ink does not take the second layer well if you put pressure on the tip or go slow. It tends to remove the under layer.

Sounds like gobbly gook but if you try it you will see what I mean.

If you ever inadvertantly hit the black rubber moulding that's around the glass, you'll end up with ugly gray buffer markson the rubber.

I used a sharpie and 2 yrs. later it's still black

I obviously splashed bleach on one of my favorite speed shop t-shirts. It is black and had 3 new white spots on it. Sharpie to the rescue! Still black after many washes. :p

Congrats ... I'm about to order almost the exact same car ... Can you get better shots of that wing ... It is the only thing I'm on the fence about.

I'm having trouble downloading photos but I will try again later.[ATTACH]:confused:[/ATTACH]. I wasn't going to do the rear wing but my son wanted it and if I keep the car for 4 years, it will go to him. Although I haven't kept a car for over 2.5 years but we shall see.

Here's some photos. The wing looks better in person, my son loves it due to it is "his car." So far I love the car, it is an extra car to motor around town. For the money, it was a good choice for me. Hope you like yours.:)
