Cars & Coffee Taunton, MA 2015
 

This is a re-post from another forum and this is a nice group of car enthusiasts with many Porsches in regular attendance:

Cars & Coffee Taunton, MA 2015.
Location: Starbucks Parking Lot (toward the back), Taunton, MA (65 H Taunton Depot Drive, Taunton, MA 02780)

Date: Every other Sunday (Weather Permitting) Starting May 24, 2015.
Exception during June we will only be meeting on June 7th and June 28th, as there are other car events that some of our regulars may want to attend. In July will resume every other weekend.

Time: 9:30 AM until whenever

Location Description: The location is perfect for this type of get together. The traffic is light on Sunday Mornings since most of the stores are still closed. We often get people that will stop by to look at the cars and ask questions and we have never had any bad experiences. Local patrols also leave us alone which is nice. If we get a big draw of cars we can always park at the Circuit City parking lot across the street which has a huge lot and no traffic.

Thanks for posting about this event and bringing your beautiful dark metallic blue Turbo! It was great seeing you and again and Jill enjoyed chatting with your wife. Looking forward to catching up soon.

Great time today, with fantastic cars and car enthusiasts! Those of you that missed it, missed a fun time. Some of us went to Newport after the event (unplanned) which resulted in a nice caravan of exotics traveling down Route 24 South.

Please join us for the next event on June 7th. Same time and location.

I just picked up and drove my new (to me) 996 Turbo home from Ohio today. If I can drag myself out of bed, I will be there!

Had a good time today! There was a good Porsche showing, then after most of the P cars left a bunch of new cars showed up. Definitely an interesting mix. Good to meet a few of you guys today.

I'm glad you and several new attendees such a Gilles, Mike, Martin, John, Kevin joined us for a morning of great cars and beautiful weather. It was a lot of fun! I hope you will join us again.

As always it was also great catching up with a our "Usual suspects" such as Dan, Hans, Ken, Ken2, Steve, Steve T, Kenny, Raoul, Ray, Bill, Ed, Rob, Rich, Nick, Keith, etc. I know I've missed a bunch of people, but I'm terrible with names! Give me time...I'll eventually get all of your names.

As Father's day is in 2 weeks, our next meet will be the week after on June 28th. Looking forward to seeing you guys there.

Hey Guys,

The forecasts I've seen for tomorrow all say we will be getting a lot of rain. So we will NOT be meeting tomorrow. Our next meet will be in 2 weeks on Sunday 7/12/15. Have a great weekend.

Dino: not sure you are aware that there is a PCA Cars and Coffee in Middleton, RI the same day and same time. The following Sunday is a possibility.

Hey thanks for the heads up. When I last checked the calendar they didn't have one scheduled for July (I try to avoid conflict when I can).

I will probably keep the same date 7/12, because with the exception of you and me there is almost no overlap between people attending PCA events and people attending the Taunton cars and coffee meets, and several of our attendees don't own Porsches. Thanks again and I look forward to catching up with you at future car events. Cheers!

Even with some other events going on yesterday we had a very nice turn out.
Lots of our regulars were there so its always great to catch up with them (you guys know who you are), but again we got to see several new faces and new cars. I want to welcome a few people that I met: Sam (Gray Elise), Mike (red Italia), Jim (599GTB), the Mondial T driver (I missed his name), Hiro and Melissa with their Boxster Spyder -some of you may remember he had a yellow Elise years ago... apparently he was seduced by the dark side and got a Porsche ;)


Again great day. Hope to catch up with you all again soon. I believe our next meet will probably be 7/26/15.

Looks like showers around 9am in Taunton according to recent forecasts so I'm cancelling tomorrow's meet. The next date for a Taunton C&C - to be determined.
