Hey!
Been a long time Porsche fan and hopefully an owner in the near future.
Little background:
Been looking at 996's c4s/TT for the past 2-3 years with the 4s shooting up in value the past 6 months or so I would rather put the money towards a TT. I try to buy all my cars so that if/when I go to sell I can at least make my initial deposit back and hopefully then some, I know for many this will be a crazy idea but its always my goal. I am a larger guy around 6'4 260 on a good day and most sport cars/coupes are not comfortable. My goal is to get something that the family and I can go for longer trips in, ( myself, girlfriend & dog). This will be my daily but I put 3k on my last car in two years so I dont think "daily driving" will be an issue. My only concerns and I am exploring the forum at the moment but if you have any input please let me know, is reliability and rust. I live in ohio but we are planning on moving to the sunshine state in the next 6-8 months so hopefully I will not be dealing with another winter. From all the cars I've seen it looks like the main source of rust comes from rock chips not being fixed, would have to spend a bunch of money and then have to replace the fenders.
Planning on a test drive this Wednesday, I sat in one today at my local dealership and fell in love but unfortunately was not able to drive it since it was already sold.
Thanks!
