How are my words different from what race drivers have said?

Basic handling concepts...heavy said that the GT-R understeers due to the AWD. Didn't you flat out disagree with him and agree that other factors contribute to understeer (as I and others have said)?
Do you believe, as heavy has stated, that HvS drives at DE pace for the supertest?
I have a pretty good enough concept of handling balance to see that Suzuki isn't fighting understeer in many of those corners on the 'Ring, which no one here seems to want to talk about, yet is likely the very key for his fast times in the GT-R, which not even other Nissan test drivers can achieve.

You claim to keep an open mind about the GT-R, yet you continue to believe that Nissan lied about the 7:27. How does 7:38 make complete sense, but 7:27 doesn't?

And so much for not reading my posts, LOL.

Nope, I'm just talking cars here. I don't own a GT-R, nor do I plan to in the near future. In the past, I have "stuck up" for the Corvette too (and called BS on Nissan's time for the R33) on Corvette forums. Does that make me a Nissan fanboy?

Alot of the posts I post are because of my thirst for knowledge about the GTR and other cars it competes against. Please tell me again what the purpose of all of your posts are.....? There is nothing that you have said or posted in the last however many threads that lends anything to this thread or is anything I DID NOT ALREADY KNOW. You are not the only one in the world who can read....so again tell me what is your purpose?

YOU WIN GUIBO THE GTR IS THE KING OF THE FREAKING ROAD! Is that enough for you to shut those fast control-v fingers of yours off?

Says the guy who believed Suzuki triggered a boost-enhancing feature that allowed the GT-R to produce a near vertical acceleration trace at 260 kph speeds...

As I have said in alot of previous threads about the GTR let the car speak for itself. Its the ignorant fanboys and stupid banter that have clouded that the GTR is an amazing car.

.
Now that's just a bold face LIE! The only thing treacherous about the Z06's handling is it's tires. And that's the only thing I've said, the crap tires can't put the power down. Same day test Z06-ZR-1 Z06 only slower by two seconds. Same day test by Corvette Racing driver Ron Fellows at Road Atlanta Z06 on ZR-1 tires faster by 4 seconds than Z06 on stock tires. While I think the advertising aspect of that is present (meaning to hype the michelins) there is no doubting the Z06 is on some seriously crappy tires.

You do the math.

You wondered about the ease/accessibility of driving the GT-R at its limits. Did the information I posted address that or not? You seemed to think the GT-R was so easy to drive. Was that not the case?

How do you know the Z06 was a pre-07 model without improved shocks? I already know about Ron Fellows and Road Atlanta.

Bold face lie? I could post some first-hand driving experiences by those who have driven the Z06 and commented about its suspension, but you'd just dismiss it anyway.

I would have been better off asking myself, because I understand basic handling concepts and already know everything you keep posting.

Yes, you would have been better off asking yourself. Yet you still asked anyway. If you already knew the GT-R requires a particular, specialized skill set to drive it to its potential, if you already knew that it can be unpredictable and can snap into oversteer, and that it can suddely regain grip faster than expected, then why did you bother to ask your question?

Now ask yourself: why does Suzuki drive the GT-R in a manner that no one else does? And could that lead to faster lap times?

"let the car speak for itself."
What?

I think Walter Rohrl may or may not know how to drive the GTR in the rally style that it needs to extract max performance. I have a sneaking suspicion.

You don't even understand how various AWD systems work, so I'd stay out of the conversation.

BADDASSC6 is infamous around these parts
I love the fact that this is the 17th page of this thread and nothing has changed. Better yet, virtually all threads in the GTR forum go this way.

He may know how to do it, yet do you see him drive that way in AWD Porsches on bone dry pavement? How about in the GT-R? As the opening post of this thread suggests, all that skill won't get you very far if the car is knackered and on serious misaligned suspension. Not a single top Porsche factory 'Ring ace could come within 16 seconds of HvS's time in a production GT-R subjected to at least the same scrutiny as any other car.
