Which comments Jasper?? Please be specific so i can try to help you with some answers. But please dont ask me to go over over old ground again . I honestly thought i'd covered everything where your responses had indicated you werent clear. Anyway always happy to give it another go for ya.....but cant garrantee they'll be what you want to hear..... but, let me give it a go if there genuinly are any loose ends left out there that are bothering you.

OK just for you Jasper i'll tell you it was new later of 2008....seeing id hate to see you be wrong. Its now done 11,500kms now too if that helps you as well. Yes i concede i could have bought more than two new GTR's at the time in comparison to what i paid but is that a crime? I am just one of many buyers here (and globally) that had GTR as an option available at the time but instead selected the 997tt. And i wasnt the only one that was aware the R 35 was faster around the ring i'm sure of that. But again i wasnt really buying my car for daily ring use so that didnt matter a great deal. What mattered were things like ride and compliance on regular B rds amongst a swag of other things. For how the GTR rode to be honest i would have gone the Gt3 as i felt its ride whilst stiff was more compliant and resolved. I also found the interior very unstylish with all the square styling cues, and very claustrophobic even though it is a little bigger inside.....which I put it down to that quirky letterbox slot size side glass and high rear glass. The view was nicer over the bonnet on the 11 as well. I do like good visibility for street driving....and track. Look Jasper. The GTR is an awsome performer and machine....no question about that, and, im not saying that to keep you happy as i think you have a separate set of issues associated to dealing with the badge, the price, and the lack of heritage and so on so forth...yet you still like the idea of at least owning some kind of P for the sake of discussion and proving your own argument concerning your GTR. But for me im quite happy....and i own more than one car as well. Sure it could have been better here and there out of the box but there were more things left to be desired with the GTR. And one day i may buy another GTR (new) (never say never) but not till the look has evolved and the car has matured in areas such as ride, the bulky heft, unresolved shifts at low speeds etc. For me the car needs to be a package especially if the bulk of its use is on the street. But to each his own. I can honestly say that if i didnt have the money and was left to choose between a used P or a used Nissan i would have chosen the P again....for a few reasons. Now maybe if i didnt have the money for the turbo and i had only 170k for a new car then i would have considered the new GTR for sure and put up with the awkward niuances for the sake of its awsome performance. You can get used to things..as we all do. But even so, I couldnt see myself waffling on like some sore toed butt sore tosspot trying to ram my choice down every P owners throats, calling everyone ******, snobs and the likes in the process. And, not saying you are doing ALL those things either..... There are others that are far more outspoken such as your mate.

Spell it out. The photos arent that clear. What do they belong to? I mean the car had to have tires on it when it was running around for those few laps before it fell to pieces....or are you saying it was driving just on the bare rims?

Well surely the car had warranty? Or lets say it didnt (Ive heard what Nissans like on warranty.....ooops), but why deny parts supply or make it difficult for P to take it back out again for some more laps. You would have thought it would have been in their interest to allow the testing. Then there is also the issue of how come it broke so quickly. Its not as if P put the "damn" thing into a wall or tree .

Your babbling there Jasper.

Woah!! Hold the phone there! Your the one that wanted to talk about this issue Jasper. Not me. Im just indulging your request. So you just pull your gun out and start shooting immediately from the hip? And aimlessly as usual. Put it away before you wind up with no feet left at all.

Look. Whatever.... Drop it if you like.

quote]

Rant. Oh dear....hmmmm.

Look Jasper as i said. If youve got nothing further to bring to the table other than sour grapes im done.

PS. Btw you never came good with your own sidestepping the issue of why you had to employ the services of some person to join up for the sole purpose of posting infamatory dirty work. How do you answer for this??

I note he is yet to post anything out of his now 13 posts that isnt directly inflamatory or offensive in some way shape or form to the non GTR owners. I'm rather surprised the mods havent booted him off completely by now particularly given the unsavoury circumstances surrounding his joining up. I mean where can he possibly go to from here on the 6? Or, do you plan just keeping him contained on the GTR forum as a jester for the pleasure of the GTR guys that have similar issues as yourself.

Id be very interested to get your response on that.

Also i did finish my last nights post for you as promised and responded accordingly .
This is all we needed to see. Thanks Speed21!

Oh, and your knowledge of warranties is lacking, I suggest you brush up before coming back (be careful, because my facts may intrude on your silliness).

And I didn't employ anyone. I don't "OWN" anybody, I didn't 'recruit' anybody. The reason you probably didn't see me address it - is because, like almost everything else your ranting about - it is absolutely irrelevant. Your perception is disappointing.

Oh well....see what that damn meaningless car of yours has done again.

Anyhow Jasper thats it for me here. Its been entertaining but truly enough is enough. Congratulations.....You win ok! Well faught my fierce adversary! You convincinly proved your point once again. I will now retreat back over to the Losers stand at the P car forums.....my head hung in shame.
You don't have to get personal... I didn't argue anything, other than your perspective (unsolicited) that people who buy GT-R's often have money to make a choice (off-topic). That was all I was contradicting. Everything else was irrelevant and unsolicited (you volunteered the rest all on your own).

I never slandered anybody's car, nor anybody's reason to purchase said car. It appears that an inanimate object can upset you. I'm sorry about that. There's nothing I can do to help.

And just because I knew why somebody does something, doesn't mean I had anything to do with the decision in which they did it (I'd LOVE to see you discuss that one). Please go educate yourself:

For what it's worth, comments such as "Most P owners have the funds to make a choice and if they want one they just buy one to add it to the stable. Cant say that situation applies to the majority of GTR owners" have a negative connotation. Whether it was your intention or not, your posts portray a "hollier than thou" attitude. Definitely not a sign of a true automotive performance enthusiast.

Wow...

You really only see what you want to see.

I can't help you. I've tried. But I obviously failed. Enjoy your car, wear your badge proudly (because we all know that the average Nissan owner can't afford one).

*edit: The list of things people here would say why Porsche is better than a GT-R is from the last 15 times this discussion came up (right here on 6speed), it not something I made up. Just an observation. Not one of those I agree with. What you fail to see, is that I don't care why one person likes one car more than the other - it is a personal decision. What I care about is your incorrect generalizations. When I see something incorrect, I try my best to correct it. That's my nature. You made an incorrect statement, I (and a few others here) tried to point this out and correct you. It seems we've all failed.

Well, apparently he think he is rich when he is not that rich. There are a lot of these people among P owners, thats the reason why they picked a Porsche Wagon.

Hkpooh - I think that is common with some brands... You get people that are loyal for various reasons. Some have a superiority complex, but usually enthusiasts do not.
