It's been a while since I have been here but here goes. MODS feel free to direct me to any other website if this is not the proper forum.

My 2014 Inifiniti QX70 (S51 2nd Gen AKA FX37) detonated the driver's side curtain and seat airbag into my wife while she was driving 65-70 mph northbound Interstate 5 between San Diego and Orange County on February 15, 2016. There was no warning to this. No collision prior or rocks or anything.

By the grace of God, blinded and deaf, she maneuvered to the center divider without killing herself, or her passengers, my 2 children and her mom. I estimated about 6-7 seconds to regain composure so roughly 700 feet in dense San Juan Capistrano traffic.

The car is mint. 16000 miles, always serviced at ONE Infiniti dealer. No recalls. Car has been in the dealer since then.

I'm just wondering if ANYONE had anything like this happen? I've owned Lexus, Acura, Volvo, Toyotas, Cadillacs, Nissans, Hondas, Fords, Lincolns at least 50 of them over my lifetime and NOTHING like this has every remotely crossed my radar.
