many thanks to whoever arranged this meet/drive/lunch. It was a lot of fun and a real good turn out. Hope we can do it again soon but this time, with a much longer drive.

I had a great time planning the meet and I'm glad you guys had fun. I was pretty nervous about such a big group going on a drive and although a few got lost here and there, I'm glad everyone made it to the restaurant and most importantly, got there safe. Hope we didn't terrorize too many bikers on the road. hahaha

I had thought 40 miles was a decent drive but I guess the freeway portion and straight-aways on Skyline made it go by pretty quick. There's another route that some of us have done several times which start at Bear Creek Rd off Hwy 17 and then to Hwy 9 that has mostly twisties and is a longer drive. We can try that next time or I can always get suggestions from members.

I want to give special thanks to the sponsors again for donating the prizes for the raffle. They had no obligation to do anything and did it purely because they are enthusiasts like us. Hope you guys look to them for future needs:

Joe and Nerwyll at Trinity Autosport
Jon, Cal and Justin at JLeviSW
Darwin at SonicMS
Bruce and Robb at BRRacing
George Rubio at Wyndham Hotel in San Jose
Chris at Roxio

Anyway, it was great meeting new enthusiasts and drooling over the Porsches. I still love my car but wish I had the money to park a 997TT next to it. haha Someday....

Take care everyone and hope to see/talk to you all soon.

Tony

Fantastic time on the drive and great meeting some local car lovers. I would be up for a longer drive next time and a track rental day for the group. Some sweet cars out there and the sound of us all blowing up 280 was fantastic.

Looking forward to some video/pictures of the event.

Thanks again to Tony and the sponsors for putting this together. Looking forward to the next, hopefull very soon!

Thanks for posting the pics Fiel!! Anyone else have more pics/vids?

BTW, stupid me, I did forget two other sponsors that donated prizes, another oil change from Four B Auto Service and free window tinting from Canlas Mobile Window Tinting.

That Ruf was sweeeet. I wish I had spent more time checking out the Porsches and all the other cars. That might have been a good thing though cause I might have drooled on everyone's paint.

Great crowd, great cars and great photos. It was fun to drive with so many great cars. Just wished that the route was a bit longer and less congested so we could stretch the cars' legs a bit more. A few years ago there was another 6speed drive that started at Carlsen Porsche and ended up in Monterey. I wouldn't mind doing another drive along Hwy 1 again.
