Bay Area Meet/Drive/Lunch - Sat Aug/21 - Palo Alto

If you guys are up for it, I've done about five meets in San Luis Obispo to unite NorCal and SoCal members of some BMW forums. It's usually an overnight affair on a Sat and the drive would definitely be longer than Monterey but might be worth it for the trek down Hwy 1? I've personally never driven that road and have only gone straight down 101 but guess it should be next on my list. Originally Posted by John in Norcal

A few years ago there was another 6speed drive that started at Carlsen Porsche and ended up in Monterey. I wouldn't mind doing another drive along Hwy 1 again.
I might be planning one for Oct or early Nov and would love to see you guys and your awesome cars there.

+1 I would be up for that. There are lots of good restaurants like Baja Catina in Monterey.Originally Posted by John in Norcal

Thanks, I am going there this Satuday. Hope to see some of you there.
If anyone is up for another cruise labor day weekend, let me know. I know enough winding roads to make it a 1/2 day drive.

I really wish I could have joined last wkend. My Gallardo was waiting for parts that arrived late. It's all fixed now. Originally Posted by torquey5

Would either 9/4 or 9/5 work for you? If you are in sbay, we can meet in redwood city and drive up 84 (woodside) towards skyline.
Anyone going to the newark meet? I plan to go around noon. Anyone from the Pennisula that want to head over east bay can PM me.

Ah okay.
I'd say 9/4 is my preference

Wish I could make it but have family in from out of town.

Count me in as interested for next weekend - 84 is right in my backyard. Had to miss the original drive, but would love to make this one.Originally Posted by djantlive
