"Santana Row" Car Meet Every Saturday 10am in Northern California
Hey guys - I read this on F-Chat about a SR attendee that brought his Ferrari 360 and (persumably) showing off his exhaust:

Do we know who he is?
The property management company at SR knows of these meets, and have been gracious enough to let stuff like this pass but I think their patience is wearing thin. I'm starting to see more presence of their mall-ninjas every Saturday morning nowadays.

SR must be run by idiots - they should be embracing the attraction and getting press from it - instead they send over rent-a-cops to make sure no one revs their engines. I'm more of a spectator since I only have the M5 right now, but I do enjoy going; it's a nice morning drive, a good cup of coffee and conversation with other enthusiasts. Hope this isn't the beginning of the end.

Yeah it's the residents that complain so the management there have to act.
Well it finally happend, their security came over today and kicked all of us out. They claimed people were revving their engines and disturbing the residence. There might be some people that are going to try to fight it but I am not too sure.
That sucks. Did they make you guys remove your cars also or could people still leave their car there and walk into the Row? Seems like it's a basically a public lot and if people are also there to shop/eat then how can they kick people out?
If our noise is affecting the quiet enjoyment of nearby residents, then those resident have a potential cause of action against the landlord. Strip malls are not public property and thus we have no "right" to be there. The landowner or his/her agent can ask us to leave at any time.
