Eddie Veddar Solo in DC tonight

Hey guys,

As many of you know, I am a Pearl Jam/Eddie Veddar fan. And, tonight was my greatest concert moment. Since Eddie was touring solo and it was a small venue/acoustic tour, I decided to take my 6 year old daughter tonight. To make a really long story short, we sat in the 6th row, and for the finale, one of the body guards motioned for me to bring Madison to the stage. She got to dance on stage for the final song, Eddie took a picture with her, gave her a bouquet of flowers, a guitar pick, and the set list from the show. All around an amazing night in Washington .......just had to share, from a proud father!

cool story. your daughter will be telling that story to her friends for years. i thought it's vedder, not veddar. i've seen pearl jam do live acoustics a few times. to me they sound best in acoustics. haven't seen eddie's solo tour yet. how was his band?

My fault...Vedder, it was very late when I got home. It was just Eddie by himself for the majority of the show. The opening act came out for two songs, and a local drummer performed on the finale song, Hard Sun. I totally agree that he sounds best acoustic.

I'm going to do a big frame with all the different mementos. It should be something she can look at and remember for a long time.
