You should go & test drive one. They are a little on the "raw" side. There is no way you will ever wear a skirt when driving the car, there is no easy way in or out of the car with out showing your goodies.

There also not so great in the rain, or for SUV drivers to see you, there like 3.5ft to the roof.

Don't get me wrong, it's a AWESOME car, just it's a 3rd or 4th car, & not a primary car. They also have much less interior space & trunk space vs the Boxter.

okay...you guys make a good point. i've never been in one yet. just something i thought was good looking, in the same price range, and looked fun. but, it sounds like it's not realistic as the DD, so i'll go back to looking at the boxster S, cayman S, or maybe a 993. =)

lol....and we wouldn't want the "lady bits" to be seen while trying to exit the lotus! lol!

I think you're stuck having to always drive a Boxster, BoxsterGirlie. Otherwise, you'll just confuse your forum friends.

I think so. I'm going to try to get one of my BMW Pro 3 racer buddies to come with me. he doesn't have a street car anymore and misses it. I owe him $ for the V1 he just sold me anyway.

What kinds of toys are the kids playing with these days? The ones not old enough to drive.

Hannah Montana, High School Musical, any kind of toy cars, etc. Having a niece and a nephew helps.

LOL -- in case you hadn't noticed Jody, Transformers are WHITE HOT right now. Santa's private cache at my house for our boys has a good representation of Transformers Daddy just might be playing with them too on Christmas (was thinking of re-living own childhood by getting a "Scalextric" set too heh heh)

Are you guys talking about the Toys-for-tots drive ?
Anyone going to the Team Seattle open-house this Sat a/noon ?

double clutch? jesus, these aren't 1960's muscle cars, if you are "double clutching" you are simply wasting time. or you don't know what double clutching is or what its purpose serves.
