Thinking about no tint for a while... I like the tint on my Audi but sometimes I have a little regret about it.

One of the things I like about the 911 is the whole fishbowl nature of the car and I think a tint takes a little away from it.

We'll see...

Full built motor 2.0, Gt35R ( i may fab some exhaust n manifold), 280s cams, and Retuned ecu then Dyno.. also im going coilover maybe Ohlin or tanabe Pro seven and 265 wide tires.. i havent pick wheels yet.. im thinkin Volks racing, Advan RS in bronze or gold... or gold with polish lip

Hey Jin - yes - iForged Aeros. I was a sucker for the lips. They seem to do that pretty well and they were nice and true - I had my installer spin them before he even mounted the tires just to make sure.

 

Hey Jeff - looks great. I would have done that same thing if I had kept the car. After seeing how good it looks, I kind of wish I did. ANyhow!!!!

 

There are no reliable turbo kits for the e46 M3. Many have tried and there have been no proven reliable results. If you are going to get a M3 AA stage 3 is the way to go...should easily give you around 500whp which is more than enough. A 500whp e46 M3 would have no problem taking a 600-650whp Evo or STi due to the gearing and high revving nature of the M3.

 

Jeff did you already drop your car or is that the stock height?

 

Alex and the crew @ Maxrpm installed some Gemballa springs and gave me a bit more aggressive alignment Tuesday. My car was so high before - I thought the S was supposed to be 10mm lower than the regular Carrera but mine was pretty up there!

Crazy - but these springs must be just about the same rate as the OEMs - it's pretty plush until you push it. I'm guessing they are a bit more progressively wound than the OEMs.

Picked up some OEM PASM struts w/ 9K from a guy who went with coilovers so I'll rock these for now and if I get serious about the car will go w/ some Motons or Ohlins later.

Right now these will do for the street and the occasional lapping day/auto-x.

todd droooooled when he saw your "after" shots! he wants to have the pss9's on his, but can't justify spending the $ on his 99 996. he said he'll wait until he upgrades to the 997 in a year and then he'll go to town like you guys!

same with my 986. the white cayman s w/ black wheels is next on my list. when that arrives...i'll be joining club "MODS" as well!
