Yes as we all remember. Heck I remember when they really didn't want watercooled cars in the event. My idea is that if you have a great German car turnout you will get more interest in the older air-cooled cars and possible to create more memebers. So many Porsches guys that had Bugs or Karman Gia's back in the day and then they want to buy and fix one up again.

I know that you understand...now get off your butt and get Eurofest going again! I am always glad to help

Air-cooled cars are cool.

Eurofest was FUN! I was very disappointed to see it go away last year!

Eurofest was in Feb. 04. Seems like so long ago...

Unfortunately Eurofest will not be happening again this year, at least not to the extent we wanted the show to evolve into. The current thoughts at Northwest European is to put on a low key European car gathering, kinda like the Leavenworth drive, only without the drive and later in the year Once the details are in place, we will announce it.

BTW, since we've taken this topic off course: Leavenworth Charity Drive is scheduled this year for Saturday June 28th, 2008 www.leavenworthdrive.com

Now back on topic: I hope to see a few new Porsches out at Springmeet this year

I guess it was that long ago, I'm getting old! I still have my pretty glass 1st place trophy sitting on my mantle.

Come on Chris, bring it back! "Build it & they will come"

I will be going to the show simply because my longtime buddy is visiting here May 20-26 and he is a huge car nut...with vw/audi being his thing. I am sure he will be very excited to see this show, so hopefully it will have a lot of vw's. But I think I will leave the P-car at home and just bring my dd.
