Hi NW 6Speeders.....

I just wanted to throw this event out there in case anyone was planning on going! Not sure what the weather is going to be that day, but if it's not raining, I'll be headed down!

Description: Autocross is a closed-course, timed, solo driving event. Each driver gets four to five runs and the best times of the day are compared per class. Drivers compete through-out the season and the winners per class are often not known until the last run of the last event.

Autocross is a fun, social driving event. A great way to get to know your fellow clubs members while tuning your driving skills. All levels of drivers are welcome. Must be a PCA member or invited to attend as the guest of a member. Advanced registration strongly recommended.

I'll be there, should be fun.

 

I'll be there with my 996TT, and my employees will be in our fleet of Scion xB loaner cars with custom flames. You won't miss us that's for sure. I'm giving them a thanks for all your hard work type reward. We're closing the shop that Saturday, and going racing. Should be fun.

i wonder if they'll have those students out there this time that we can pay to do our cone chasing for us. that was great! $20.00 and they'll take over your cone assignment!

If you are going, make sure you register online. That way they have the a good count of who is coming. It helps them decide if there will be 2 or 3 run groups.

Seriously though - as with golf - I just don't enjoy auto-x in the rain.

lol... my car is all shiny now and I don't feel like getting it dirty. <princess mode on>

 

Hell, my car hasn't been out since I had Mirrorworks do the detail, but it sure hit the rain hard today. Had to test out my new autocross wheels. Looks just as good dirty as it does clean.

David kicked butt out there! His car looked amazing! Even the announcer said "And here's David, in his white 993 Turbo. It's by far one of the best looking cars out here today!"

Bojan....WOW! your engine sounds AWESOME running down the track! NICE JOB today!! you're going to be really good when you bring the 996 out next time!

Carlos/Waide...Sorry you couldn't stay for the event. Usually, you have to plan on staying until about 3'ish. Maybe next time! At least you go to see some of it!
