My VF stage2 M3 Dyno'd!
Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I would like to give a Special Thanks to Nik and Sean over at Vf-Engineering for there great customer support and helping me with my install! Also John and the Crew at Carbconn for finishing up my install and firing up my little red beast! Without them, I would be lost! Thanks again Guys! So now to the good stuff, Power Mod list as of today; -Vf stage 2 SC kit -Supersprint header -SS s-pipe with Magnaflow cats weld in...:chair: -SS Unresonated X-pipe -Dixis ti exhaust The Kit only has 350 miles! The pulls were done in 4th gear on 92 oct. This was the first time I had ever got into full boost in 4th! Once the car fully adapts, hopefully i will be able to pull some more power! I have a set of Magnaflow "race" cats installed on the car:shifty:! When i had these cats installed I was under the impression that they were 200 cell race cats. Maxxpsi and I both pulled the trigger on the cats. As time went on, Maxxpsi had his car shipped to Vf! There Nik discovered the So called "RACE" cats were just universal regular 400 cell cats! :taser: I spoke with Nik and he informed me that I would loose 15-20 rwhp. So with that being said, I made 444.96rwhp and 305.82rwtq on a DYNOJET!:shiftdriv I am removing my cats and letting the car fully adapt before re-dyno my car! The cool thing is I have a baseline dyno from the same place! Pervious Power mods; -Delage Airbox, After market filter -D/A Race software -SS Headers -SS s-pipe with no cats -SS X-pipe -SS Race Exhaust I made 282.74rwhp and 226.16rwtq with my pervious setup! The car is running Beautifully! I’m making 22'' of vacuum at idle and 24'' right when I’m off boost! I make 8.5psi! get very little idle search! The powerband is very smooth! I love driving my car! http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e203/ravijj/dsf.jpg Here are some pics of the kit during install! http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...j/P5181790.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...j/P5181788.jpg Kit completed! http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...j/P6131984.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...j/P6131982.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...j/P6121971.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...j/P6131985.jpg |
