Havn't posted on here a while as I have been busy with work and also trying to get wedding plans set with Jess. I have an old friend of mine, who is basically like a little brother to me, visiting Seattle from May 20-26. He is only 18, but a great kid who shares a strong passion for cars like many of us. I was hoping to put together a morning meet on either May 24th or 25th while he is in town and have a few enthusiasts come out to show some of the nice cars we have in this group and the Seattle area, and maybe going for a cruise afterward. Hope a few people are interested, though I am betting quite a few will be going to the auto-x (thread posted by boxstergirlie). Hope everyone is doing well. Please post or pm me if interested.

Meet info:
Cars and coffee, Saturday May 24th, 9:30am. Kirkland waterfront park.
There is a starbucks and I believe also a Tully's there. Basically just a fun little morning gtg, socialize, check out other member's rides and enjoy.

Haha good one PJ. Right now just trying to pick a date is tough since the wedding will be in Toronto and we need to pick a place for the reception. Of course we both want to see them together and its tough for me to get days off work such short notice. Do mark your calender and try to come out as it would be great to have you there. I havn't seen your car since fall and it looks even more bada$$ now with the new mods.

 

If Auto X is that weekend that would be the best place for him to go. Automatic 40 porsches in one spot no planning needed. so plan your wedding take him to auto x and you'll get to see some great cars and some drivers having some fun.

There is a car gathering on the 24th, heading down to the gorge.

You can find a link at www.elcc.org. May 24th. I am going in the Lotus, and many other cars are going as well. not sure how many 6speeders.

IIRC, we are meeting in Fife and heading down in the AM. It is a European style rally, in the sense that there are no speed or time requirements. Just a fixed start and end with a general time line. THey are handing out maps and guides at the start to make the trip more interesting.

I think a few Elises will show up on the 25th. We are planning a Lotus meet and greet and above all EAT. And I think it was set to be held there? its still up in the air.

 

We may stop by and say hi if you guys are meeting on the 25th. The meet will be the 24th...more like a cars and coffee event. Will post details in the first post of this thread.
