I'm soooo excited to go to this event! Thank you guys all so very much for your support and your vote! I'll be heading down on Wednesday. Thursday, I can drive the course (at speed limit) and then Friday and Saturday, the race is one! I'll be headed back home Sunday morning.

Yes! for sure! If ANY one of you guys want to come along, it would be a really fun time to have you there! Imagine, the 6speeders for a weekend in Reno! Fun times would be had! And yes, if Enrique made it, that would be really cool to show even more 6SO support up there!

Can you imagine Tommy and crew down there! WOOOT!!

I'll be posting pictures of the journey down from Seattle as well as pictures of the event and all of the stuff going on in between!

Again, thank you all again! And a special thank you to the 6speed staff and forum for everything. I'm so honored to represent a forum that I am proud to be a member of and I hope to make you all proud!

 

That would be awesome to head down with you. Starting that weekend through all of July though, I have a wedding booked every weekend. Going to be a long stretch of of 6 weeks or so starting the end of June.

 

Congrats Jody. Can't wait to hear/see the recount of the event. Sounds like great fun. Good luck.

 

Is Todd going with you? If so, he can take the pics while you're gone....

 

Mom is going to car pool down with me. Yes, it's going to be "Thelma and Louise part II". LOL! Mom and daughter in Reno....fun stuff!! Her personality is very much like mine. lol! Todd will most likely be flying in for the race and flying back. Mom will take pics of the trip down and of the event as it happens as well as Todd when he's there. I'll be posting up everything from my room when I get back! I'll for sure keep you all updated on the event! I can't wait! I'm getting four new tires on in the next few days....the fire extinguisher is getting installed at the same time my brake pads are getting replaced so she's all ready to go!

 

Have Todd let me know when he buys the tickets. I'll fly down with him and take pictures of course.

Congrats on the win. I have driven that road numerous times (family in Reno), though "Always" at the speed limit. It should be a fantastic time. If it wasn't for a whole bunch of preplanned stuff (work and the like) I would totally be down there, and crashing at my parents place for that week.

 

Thanks so much again you guys! You all rock! I promise to be safe down there while having fun and representing 6SO and the NW crew! I'll keep you all posted as the journey takes place! I'm off to pick me up a couple of pink race shirts to wear as I am required to wear long sleeves and cotton for protection should anything happen. =)
