My quest for a "daily driver" sports car led me to two choices - a 997.1TT and GTR. While I was fairly certain the 997.1TT was the right car for me (I've had numerous 911s and loved them all), I thought I would see if Godzilla lived up to all of the hype. One test drive and I was convinced. Without a doubt the best all-around car I've driven in the handling and brute speed department with no apparent faults or quirks (except for the Robotech looks :D)

I would've taken a 997.2TT PDK over this in a heartbeat, but I just couldn't justify the huge delta in $.

Any other PNWs own a GTR?

Thats a beauty man. Those things are HUGE in person. Parked next to one in my 996TT.. it looked tiny! Great color btw.

Nice choice, they are wonderful cars! I believe the fastest car in it's price range.

Down side they are frail, and have trans issues, don't launch it. They also require a lot of maintaince. But compared to your other ride, I'm sure it's a drop in the bucket.

Tuesday nights - weekly S2000 meet @ Azteca on 148th in Bellevue. You (and anyone else interested) should come!

Happy Hour beer pricing and very cheap all you can eat tacos for $4 bucks or so.

It's more of a good excuse to hang - we probably talk about the S2000 perhaps 3% of the time. Come to think of it most of us show up in cars other than S2000s. :D

It's more about different cars, guns (been doing some steel plate shooting lately), karts, girls and whatever else comes up.

In addition to the beautiful white GT-R Simon had a few other white beauties in the past including an S2000.
