[not a sale post] info gathering from local folks on these locally posted two 911 C4S

Apparently my previously post was in violation of posting sale info under non-market sub-forum. Telling ya, I would keep both cars if they were mine
Don't ask me why and how someone could have interpreted that way. Obviously didn't read my post.

I'm not here to argue but going back to my original point to seek the info on these cars if you know anything about them.

The forum admin advised that I put the url *only* to reference

http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/2504203462.html

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2513183874.html

Let me know if you know anything about these cars, the price tag is very attractive.

I would get the 993 over the 996.

I think it has ~100k miles. This 993 has been on the market for a while as I remember seeing it on craigslist & autotrader.
Have always wondered why it hasn't been picked up yet w/ a such low price tag.

Wife wants 996 instead, she thinks it looks much modern, sorta same generation as our Cayenne.

Same here, love the exterior of 993, especially CS or C4S rear flare look

See.... this is the reason why I copied and pasted the content of the car,,, still waiting to hear back from the forum admin as to what is okay or what isn't okay, so I don't cause any future conflicts.
Apparently my previous post on Skyline R32 is still available to view;
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ne-gt-r32.html
The admin of this forum, GT3 Chuck, has pointed out my previous post was deleted due to the price & phone# were listed on my post. I guess the R32 post above doesn't contain these info. Instead of speculation, would be great to know the detail rules.

I've been a fan of the 996 c4s over the 993. I know I'm the minority, but despite the distorted IMS issues, they're pretty problem free. I personally know people who have had 993 c4s nightmares. They're both great though. Can't really go wrong with either.

Appears to be 996 C4S is still in the market, might schedule a time to take a look (pending whether it's still available or the craigslist hasn't been updated), but should find out how much it would cost to get the LN engineering's RMS & IMS upgrade jobs done via the local shops who are listed under LN engineering's website. Might be able to leverage that during price negotiation.
