NY Metro - Mechanic Recommendation

Hi, new to the forums - looking for a recommendation for a basic, cost-effective mechanic for my 1966 911. It is by no means a show-condition car, but in decent shape, just having trouble keeping it running reliably, in spite of quite a bit of work the last 4 years. May be due to not driving it frequently enough - but backfires a lot, has a permanent battery drain, etc.

I live in NYC - car lives in Montclair, NJ.

Car has been in family since brand new (grandpa, dad, me) - mostly original except for some bigger disc brakes, weber carbs instead of solex, MSD ignition, and some moderately upgraded suspension.

Past noteworthy rides over grown up years: 99 boxster, 2000 M5, 2001 996TT, 2009 M5.
