How did you go about having the door handles blacked out? Are they just painted?

They are LR3 door handles. I swapped them out.

I had not thought of that. Did you have to take off the inside door panel?

Nope, it was really straight ahead. The install took the guy about 10 minutes total to do all 4.

Yes, it was lowered with lowering links. 2.5 inch in front and 2 inch in the rear.

Do you have any more specifics on the install? My dealer told me that you have to take the inside door panel off to get the handles changed.

Then your dealer is trying to rip you off.

Essentially these are just covers that will replace the stock RRS grey covers. You can pull them off quite easily as they are just clips. I am sorry I do not have more detailed instructions. Again, my tech did this and I watched, but it was literally that easy for him.

Ah, thanks. I think the dealer was trying to sell me the entire handle, mechanics and all. That would explain why they wanted $112 each also.
