Looking to tune a 2008 Subaru STi with a VIPEC ECU, any recommendations?

First off, congrats on picking up a ViPec ECU. Not many people know about ViPec and its features.

The only downside to that awesome ECU, is that not many people/tuners know about it. I have seen a few Evo's run this ECU with very successful results. Cannot even tell the car is running on a standalone.

Regarding tuning a ViPec for a Subaru, I'm not sure who is tuning with it, but I would recommend you contact Tim Bailey of Surgeline Tuning, who is one of the most knowledgable Subaru tuners on the planet. I'm sure he can help you, or point you in the correct direction. Just google Surgeline Tuning, and you will find him.

I used I-speed to tune my 05 STi, and they build 1000 hp subies so maybe they can help you out! Good luck!

I would just look on VIPEC website to see l who sells them and go from there.

EFI Logics in Bethel CT. See Chris Kiewert ask him about VIPEC. I don't know if he does this but Chris tuned my 05 STi with 35r opensource they get awesome praise from everyone. Dublin OH to Bethel a one day drive well worth it.

Do either of them work for Perrin?

 

I don't believe so.

 

Will Vipec work with any platform or do they specialize in certain makes? This is the first I've heard of them, so I did bookmark their site and will have some reading to do later on.
