Forged Performance - Evo X MR get's some goodies! AMS, Tomei, Willall,

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share with you guys a great little project we just wrapped up on a Mitsubishi Evolution X MR. Customer originally came in here for some service work. We drained all of his fluids and filled up his SST transmission with Willall's WR35TMX full synthetic transmission fluid. The Willall transmission fluid is leaps and bounds better then anything on the market. It is a must for those who want the most life out of their transmission. We replaced the Differential fluids with fresh OEM LSD fluid.

The vehicle was bone stock and the owner couldn't take it any longer. While it was here for his service he wanted to gain more performance. Forged Performance set him up with a perfect combination for the first round of modifications. For his exhaust we decided to run the AMS Downpipe paired with Tomei's Titanium test pipe, and catback exhaust. The weight savings on the Tomei combo is unreal. Over stock it removed 47lbs off the MR. The quality of exhaust is second to none. The fitment of the exhaust was spot on, And the exhaust note was music to my ears. As you can see from the pictures below it is stunning.

Once we got the exhaust situated it was time to add some breather mods to the mix. Customer went with the Tomei Titanium intake pipe, AMS Intake, and AMS Intercooler. The Tomei Titanium intake helped reduce the weight by 25% while still adding horse power. The Tomei titanium flash in the engine bay was a nice component to tie in the other titanium hardware together. The AMS Intake & Intercooler went on effortless with no modifications needed. This combo helped improve air flow to generate more power, and keeping the car cooler.

Sharif tied all the mods together utilizing a Cobb Accessport with a Forged Performance Cobb Protune. The end dyno result over stock was close 80 wheel horsepower gain on our Dyno Dynamics.

Dynograph coming soon!

Thank you for looking!

Tray

Don't take this personal but the tomei intake pipe you keep referring to is the upper inter-cooler pipe, nothing to do with the intake. Reduces 25% in weight lol. What like .5 grams lighter than the stock pipe.

We are exit 263 off of Interstate 75. If you are coming from Florida, I'd say about 4 hours.
