Where are the Subaru WRX STI's?
 

Hey motorheads....Doesn't anyone like the Subaru WRX STI's?

I like them just not for me. I ended up with an a4 that I have currently modded. The STIs are great fun though for the $

I'm a subie nut, I've had 3, a 98 wagon and 2 sti's :D

If you didn't already know about it, there is a website called NASIOC where you will find many more STi owners.

I bought a 2011 STI Sedan for my fiance to have as a daily driver....She loves it....

Just tested one last week. Thought it would be an interesting daily driver and the performance was impressive, mileage numbers are kinda scary though.

I DD my '11 sedan. You're correct. MPG's are pretty pitful for a FI car. Otherwise a very good car.

To the OP, not many Subbie drivers here. NASIOC, IWSTI is to Subaru what 6 speed is to Porsche.

02 WRX wagon, stage 4

What is stage 4?

Turbo Upgrade

Where'd you hear that? A turbo upgrade offers MANY choices, how can you put a blanket "stage" on that?

FWIW, I've done a few turbo swaps and have never heard it referred to "stage 4", just a turbo swap.

Stage 1 = ecu upgrade
Stage 2 = downpipe plus ecu
Stage 3 = smaller turbo upgrades
Stage 4 = large turbo upgrades

I own two STI's and just put my latest one (2011 sedan) to stage 1 and it'll be at the track this weekend to see what it can do. These stages are common knowledge amongst Subaru die hards.

I've only bought two cars twice in my life otherwise I keep switching because I'm a motorhead. The two cars are a 911 and an STI.
