by the eye, it seems like the front wheel on the picture from the back of the car is slightly bigger than the back wheels, and in the second picture from the front it is the opposite. Shouldn't the front wheel look bigger when u see the car from the front and the back wheel bigger than the front when you see the back of the vehicle?

We were moving at a pretty good clip, 60-xxx mph on a road that was barely big enough for two cars to pass each other and lots of corners. I didn't get a good look at the tires. I followed (chased) him for about 6 miles (10km), he definately didn't like me following him!

The reflection on the back of the car looks just like the Porsche buildings at the test track in Weissach but there are no rock mountains in the area. The German like town reflected on the side of the car could be from Weissach but I don't know of a location where this could be photographed (especially with the glass Porsche office buildings refelecting on the back). So this could very well be a PShop with excellent shots of the car being merged together with different scenery. Also - there are no office buildings of that size above the tree line - where those mountains are. Definatley a top quality PShop.

it's going to be interesting to see how porsche is going to market this vehicle
|
...but have no doubts; It will sell!

Given the fact that almost all 911s and Boxsters owners will also have or need a sport sedan in their garage, I'm sure the Panamera will have no problem with sales. Immediate competitors will be MB E or CLS class or higher models, BMW 5, 6 & 7 series, and Audi A6 or higher models.

what do you guys think the MSRP should/would be for the Panamera turbo?
lets set a benchmark: below or above the current 997 turbo? |
considering the bentley flying spur only sells for 170k, the maserati quattro sells for 120k, and the Mercedes CLS 63 amg only sells for about 90k, i would speculate the Panamera sells for same/slightly higher than its 911 line. ranging from 75k-150k. (Engines choice from V6-V8 turbo). Personally, I don't think the V10 is coming....

X6 is an SUV derived from X5. I think its direct competitor is Cayenne GTS instead. As for prices, I predict that the whole Panamera lineup will cost slightly higher than the equivalent 911s (i.e. Pana S slightly more than Carrera S, and Pana turbo slightly more than 911 turbo). Similar to years ago when the 928 prices were above the 911. |
the front looks great, but the rear is fugly.... the car would be perfect if it has a db9's butt
|
nice car.
|
|
Looks like one hell of a GT car! Can't wait to see it on the flesh.
|
Nice, I like it.
Why is it fashionable to bash this car ? |

Indeed the last one is sweet!

for the longes time i was hoping this car to still somewhat resemble more of a sedan-cue.. now with that rear hatch it's a 100% wagon in my book. sigh.
