Im going the other way. Removing my turbo spoiler to install one from 4s. Hopefully this will not need any programming. Anybody know?

Seems like a quick fix to swap them over at least.

I got a complete 4s spoiler on Ebay for arround 200$ in great condition. Same colour as my car as well.

upload

This is because i want to install a carbon spoiler from VAD design. So i only gonna be needing the lift function of the spoiler. Might sell the turbo spoiler. Seems quite pricy these things.

You have to have a 2010 to 2013 to use it.

Has anyone done this retrofit on a 2014-2016? I have done a lot of research and from what I have found so far, it's not plug and play.

I have bought the Turbo Spoiler P/N:970-512-201-12-041. I have install it today, without the turbo wiring yet. I have redone the calibration via PIWIS 2 and it's working like a regular spoiler now. There is one more connector with four more pins, and also PINS 4 and 5 on the Turbo Spoiler are populated. Apparently pins 4 and 5 will carry current because they are thick. This means pins 1 to 4 of the new connector are for signalling. I am gathering relays from eBay. It should be fully operational very soon.

I have all the parts I need by Monday. I have a hand sketched wiring diagram ready. All the pieces I need for wiring should arrive Monday. I will hand make the harness Monday night and Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday will be programming and road test. I will attend Peachstate PCA Concour for the first time with it fully functional on May 6. Come meet me there and see my Panamera if interested. I have other one of a kind customizations that I have shown pictures here. You can see them in real life at Concour. I will compete and prepare to lose and learn lessons this time so my car won't be cleaned, but I know it will draw attention.

What year is yours? If it's 2014-16, you can just use my part number, then you need to get a lot of pins from VW parts.
