Powerkit Panamera Turbo 540HP!

I was just browsing the international Porsche Configurator, when I came two new option "Powerkit Panamera Turbo". This up rates engine power to 540hp, and is only available for the Panamera Turbo. If Porsche introduces a Panamera Turbo S, it will probably come standard with this kit, paddle shifters, and PCCB's. If you want this kit, expect to pay around 16K. Here is Porsche's description of the kit.

Power upgrade to 397 kW (540 hp). Modifications include exhaust turbocharger with new turbine wheels in titanium/aluminium, modified engine management and brake cooling, new engine-bay styling with throttle valve cover including badge in carbon, titanium coloured intake system with inlays in carbon and silver turbo logo as well as Sport Chrono Package Turbo (order. no. 640). Note: available from approx. 09/2010
Wot do you think about this guys?

I think more and more manufacturers are competing with the aftermarket tuners. Most importantly, end users will maintain their warranty.

Avail in USA?

Anyone have confirmation of availability in the USA?

Having just ordered a 2011 PTT I did not see this option. It's not listed on the dealer version of the configurator, though there are some options for 2011 not listed on the public configurator yet (like a Sports Package with all of the likely suspects in a bundle, excepting PCCB).

Likely wouldn't spend the $$ for my build. PTT has more than enough for me. But it would be nice to have the option.

it is a $29k option in Canada -almost 20% premium on the base price

No way that's going to be cheap but then starting at $130k isn't chump change either.

check out UK configurator, this option gets expensive as you should choose PCCB as a power boost package.
