Bought a Panamera

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I bought a Carrara white with luxor beige interior. Car has, servo, 19" P turbo wheels, bose, xm, backup camera, walnut pkg, 4 zone climate, window shades, luggage cover. MSRP a little over $84K, paid $80K.

I am really excited, this will be my first porsche. Comes of the boat next week, delivered to my house on the 23rd! Inventories are really getting low and I did not want to order one and have to wait until fall.

Congrats on your first porsche… you’re gonna love it!

I was in the same situation you were 2 months ago and ended up pulling the trigger on a dealer demo to get the exact options/colour I wanted minus the side shades and a backup camera. You’re right about inventories being low...especially the V6.

One thing I was going to mention on your other post was to make sure you (and others reading) get the backup camera. I unfortunately did not get that option and regret it because of the huge blind spots when backing up.

Enjoy your ride when it arrives!

Congrats!! You will love this car.

I would echo the other general advice on this car: get a backup camera. It's invaluable. The car unfortunately has some difficult sight lines. Not sure why Porsche just doesn't include it as standard on this car.

I agree with your thoughts about camera....I would go even further and say that they should have blind spot warning indicator too.. This is now standard on many lower priced cars, so not sure why Porsche does not put it on the Panamera as standard equipment.
