To buy a 2013 Pana S exec demo, or not???

When I had my 2010 Panamera S, I loved it. It drove great, was comfortable and there wasn't too many things I didn't like at all. Looking for a new car and came across a 2013 executive demo with 10,000 miles. $109,000 Pana s nicely equipped, for $27,000 off. I would be punched as first owner. This isn't used persay despite the mileage. I test drove it today, it's clean and has performance exhaust , air suspension and pasm and a few other options like Bose. Nothing crazy though.

Even at 27,000 off, I am thinking I am still behind the curve as to value if I were to sell or trade it on. Carbon grey with Luxor. Thoughts?

It's $82,000? Base price of a 2014 is $93,000. I guess it depends on the options you need and whether you want a NA 8 cylinder engine.

$82K doesn't sound bad. What other features are with the car?

Car has Bose, air suspension (in addition to PASM), premium pkg plus, he will out on turbo II wheels, new tires, sport performance exhaust, sport chrono plus, seat crests front, pdk of course, tineo wood pkg, 14 way power seats. carbon grey /Luxor interior.

On the surface, with conquest allowance, it's $30,800 off sticker. $109,000, I pay $78,200. Sounds good, right? Not sure. It's a year old, but will be sold as new, and if be first registered owner. Not looking for a "not bad" deal, looking for an exceptional deal.

With those features and new rubber that is a superb deal in my opinion. These cars are generally kept and finding one with the right options...PASM, Chrono, and Turbo wheels is a great find. I am assuming that they have done the 10K service...yes?

Then you will save another $500-$700. Negotiate for them to include a clear bra and take it. Good luck!

I also found out that brand new tires were put on car 500 miles ago. Michelin OEM.

That is an awesome deal

Thank you. Took delivery last night. After detail job, car is incredibly perfect. Has clear bra up front and is extremely well kept. Turbo II wheels in carbon grey look awesome. Only downside was tires. Although PORSCHE NA recorded new tires 500 miles ago, they clearly weren't new. Around 60%. They were Michelin pilot sport II. I opted for the tires that came on turbo II's, Pirelli's. I had Pirelli's in my 3010 and was very happy with them. We will see when I replace them what I get. I understand Panameras are now all coming with Michelins for 2014 according to an article I read. Of course I would have loved the Bermester, but having the Bose before and again now, I am not at all disappointed in the system. It is still quite nice for a factory sound system.

Steering seems a little lighter than on my 2010. Easy enough and handling is all there, wonder if sport settings tighten up steering gears or rack? Anyone know exactly what pasm, sport, sport plus do specifically? I know what it does to suspension and gearing, anything else?

Salesman tells me if I want to manually shift, funnest program is sport plus. I tried it in way home last night and holy crap- torque was incredible for not being a turbo and was fun as hell!
