My PCM resets itself everytime I play a CD... thoughts..

I have a 2014 Panamera 4S and every time I put in a CD, it resets itself at sporadic times. Sometimes it can reset and reboot within a couple seconds, sometimes it's half the CD.

I took it in about 3 weeks ago to get it diagnosed and they said the PCM was at fault and a new one was ordered. They took about 2 hours to do 3 updates, and replace the PCM today and it still has the same problem. Now, it is actually worse. The PCM actually resets to all default settings when it resets and reboots.

I am about to take it in again tomorrow morning, and my service advisor has always been honest and great to me (5th Porsche in 3 years with the same advisor). Any ideas what it can be? I definitely know it is not the PCM anymore unless I got really unlucky and got 2 bad PCM's in a row...

TIA,

Frank

Did you by chance try a different CD? Might want to try the exact CD on a different car when you have the chance to at the dealer.

Tried many different CD's that work in my 13' Cayenne but not in the P4S.

Porsche NA is involved now. Waiting on an answer from Porsche on how to move forward now...

I have to say, I've never heard of such a issue. Very interested in what it could be.

On a positive note, they did give me a 2014 Cayman 6SP for a loaner.

It brings a lot of nostalgia back for me since I've had both the Boxster and Cayman in previous models...
