Button Behind Driver's Seat

Hi.

I have a 2010 PS. There's a button on the panel behind the driver's seat slightly above where the driver side passenger would rest their feet. I've looked in the manual, and I know I'm overlooking it. Can anyone tell me what that button is for?

I believe that allows you to turn the interior motion sensor off and set the alarm...

Clorigo is correct. Why is it important? If you leave your car on a hot day and leave the sunroof tipped open, a sudden gust of wind will set off your alarm unless you've pushed that button when leaving the car. You probably don't need to ask me how I found out about this...

Thank you.

Sounds like personal experience to me, and a very specific story at that...

...or if someone wants to wait in the car, while the driver locks it for security with the key.
