Panamera's On The Track

I wish more of our Panny owners would track their cars. They are amazing and a lot of fun. I have not seen another at Sebring or Palmer.

I have autocrossed mine, and it was amazing. Folks watching were amazed at how balanced it was and how well it handled.

I will be tracking mine this year :D

The car has an astonishing level of body control for such a large vehicle.

I never have tracked my Panamera S, but I did sneak up on a GT40 yesterday while cruising Scottsdale! It left me with the goal of giving it a try one day! Attachment 488331

Track day is on the horizon for spring; as a warm up I did a fabulous mountain road with no traffic (or really any other cars). Amazing how the car (GTS) becomes alive when pushed hard, how PDK is just perfect and how the car 'bites' into corners.
The recommended speed markers for corners were great indications - if you double the numbers! Great fun was to 'make friends' with an SLS who was also out to have fun. Had it on the straight at 280kmh/175mph, super stable and confident. Acceleration was great till 200kmh/120mph; very good toll 250kmh/155mph, slow above that. Fabulous car |
