Anyone has issue with PPanamera front Sway Bar bushing?

Does anyone here has issue with their front Sway Bar bushing?

CitizenMike 10-06-2016 09:06 PM

Maybe. I oddly enough just noticed today when I pulled out of my garage and turrned the clack/clank of a sway bar bushing problem. 2015 Panamera. Hitting the dealership with it next week.

I have the same issue but on and off most of time is when car is ready to take off. Please keep me posted. Thanks

I am not sure about the year / models but I believe it is quite common.

What are the physical effects of bad bushings?

ikeibe28 10-11-2016 09:13 AM

The effect is a creaking noise whenever you go over a bump. Had mine fixed at 40k miles I think and it was covered under warranty, now its back at 80k miles. Its a common problem with panameras. Hopefully its fixed with the new models.

a bit off topic but is there any more known issues of the Panameras other than this? My Panamera had the coolant leak out already and had to replace some parts. All is done now and all good but now I got a washer fluid leak by the passanger side front fender. I will get that done as well.

I got the first day too . Yeah there is one huge problem with them , the camshaft bolts will break and looks like ours engines are a ticking bomb !
the swaybars and bushing in our cars are clunky from the factory

Dealer told me that my sway bar busing and links has no free play and they can't figure out what the issue is because the tick noise is on and off =( they test drove the car and it's perfectly fine. I only hear it once awhile and it feel like under the passenger side foot location

I have been having this problem for the last 2 years. Mine seems to make a creaking noise when it was cold. I had them replaced 2 years ago (it took them 3 months to get the parts) and it had warmed up so it wasn't a problem. When the temp hits around 0 (celsius) I start to hear it. Makes me nervous. I'm going to have it looked at again. At first it would appear around -15 to -20 but now with even relatively warmer temps. Was hoping to keep mine as a winter car but maybe not...have my eye on the new Panamera hybrid or the Volvo V90.

Did the dealer tell you what's the issue? What did they change? My dealer can't seem to find the click noise that i have =( it's on and off which is annoying Thank you buddy!

This could be a viable solution if Porsche OE rubber bushings keep failing:

that 'clack/clank' appeared only on slow speed and full turn ? Road was wet or dry ? does it looks like one front wheel is slipping ?
Seems that I do experience some kind of phenomena which I just described in my questions

Thanks...I'm taking it in soon for its servicing and I'll have them check out the bushings again...anyone know what the warranty of OEM parts are?

negb 02-10-2017 06:34 AM

As long as you have the warranty they are covered by it.
Have you sorted out that creaking noise ? Any update about that ?
Thank You in advance.
