Panamera in Sports Mode- Issues

Hey all with the 2010 Panamera in sports mode i notice 2 issues:

1) if I am at a light or a stop and I need to accelerate quickly (i.e. turning left quickly with oncoming traffic) I notice a jolt and jerkyness from the transmission as it tries to get going quickly...I also notice on the PDK it is never goes below 2nd gear.

2) when accelerating from a stand still you have to feather the accelerator otherwise it can be jerky

Anyone else experiencing this? Is there any remedy to this? i had a PDK softare update recently (i was told) but is there any other software updates or anything any can tell me about?

mine doesn t go into first no matter unless I put it in. I tried it yesterday and the tach shoots up fast and the car going about 25-30 at most. Don t like 1st gear
myself.
Should not have to feather throttle. It should shift very fast and smooth. Try NOT feathering pedal and let car figure it out. Sometimes these cars are driven too soft and gets confused with what you are trying to do.
