Leaking Plastic Coolant Pipes

Leaking Plastic Coolant Pipes
I changed the oil this weekend and upon removal of the belly pan I noticed are fairly large area of coolant stains on the pan. After a quick search it was apparent the plastic coolant pipes in the oil cooler and alternator coolant circuit have become brittle and leak. When a wiggled the rubber portion of the circuit the plastic connector on the alternator snapped off easily. I have ordered the parts and await there arrival. I have had a faint coolant smell for a while and have had to top off the system roughly every 5,000 miles.
Has anyone done this work before? I am concerned about access for the alternator connector as it can't be reached from above and looks too cramped to get a torx wrench on there. The pipe in question is shown on the first picture with the blue line on the part. The second picture is from the area near the oil cooler.
I know this has been an issue with the Cayenne models and now obviously on the Panamera. Not a good long-term design.
I've owned the car since new. 2012 Base Panamera with 93,XXX miles.
