Anyone have any idea?? |
Why do you think it is engine motor oil?
|
Hey ace check out this pic of the oil level from the dash guage , min reach so its for sure engine oil im just wondering why not atleast an check engine light or some warning i guess https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.6sp...8ae763b0d.jpeg |
Looks like the air-oil separator failed?
|
|
all parts fail eventually, doesn't seem to be a major failure point, but it is common enough. Are you seeing white smoke? (oil being burned)
|
when oil is at min, the pic shows dip stick oil at lowest notch and oil is yellow. It can drop more below min. Then you will get same pic, but oil will not be displayed on dipstick, and area below stick will be red.
Add oil now before you get that low. yes, looks like your oil separator not functioning, may need replacing. Appears easy to do. Unless oil coming from other place. You would have to verify. Take care. |

no white smoke seen also no rough idling just the oil leaking out at that top part no oil reaching the floor i check my garage over night nothing only in the engine bay near the oil seperator . But now i cant see the oil level says not available |

After you open the engine hood, the oil level cannot be read until after being driven for about 10 miles. If the oil was at minimum already, it requires 1 quart to bring it back to full. You don't want the oil level to go any lower and watch the oil pressure. Minimize driving the car until you replaced the part.

I would top it off and then have the oil separator checked out, when was the last time you checked the oil level? (before it got this low)
A simple check would be to try and take the oil fill cap off while it's running - a failed separator generally causes too much vacuum in the crank case, oil cap will be harder to remove if that is the case. |

Based on my pictures do you people see anywhere else oil can be spitting out from in that area?? It has to be from top because the bottom of my car and garage is bone dry no oil leaks at all from the bottom |
