Got home this evening and went back out to get something and could hear a gurgling noise coming from the rear/gas tank area, anyone else ever have this happen? (2010 4S)

 

I'm new to the Panamera world, I'm making a comparison to my race bikes. Any time I've had the gurgling in the gas tank its always been a fuel line in the fuel pump, inside the tank. A tear, hole or bad clamp. The girgling is the fuel cycling around. When driving you'll see a lost of fuel pressure when hammering it or corning. You usually have to be a fuel demand situation to feel the loss. When its really bad you'll stall.

 

Never heard the noise you are talking about --- but the fuel tank(s) system is fairly complex. The suction jets shown move file around and ultimately keep the low-pressure fuel pump chamber (reservoir) full. There are lots of places for fuel movement (noise maybe). Was this with a fairly low-level in the tank?
