Panamera 21" wheel thread

I'm shopping wheels for the Panny and I'm leaning towards 21" over 22" to gain a bit more sidewall. If you're running 21s, post a pic of the car and mention brand/dimensions of the wheels.

At the moment, I'm liking ADV.1 wheels and these specifically. I like the old-school polished lip look, so I'm hoping for something like that.

I've always liked the look of a split 5-spoke design. With Adv.1 having troubles over the last couple years a more popular option among customers as of late has been the ANRKY AN34's

Are there many tire options for 21 inch?

Paul Rathjen 09-01-2018 08:37 PM

I’d not go larger than 21” myself simply because any larger just looks odd in almost every wheel design.

michelin, pirelli, and continental seem to have 21s covered quite well.

I am also looking for wheel advice, just picked up a 2017 panamera turbo for my wife, don't want to get to aggressive with the fit and 21's will be a safer move vs 22. ALSO since Porsche offers a 21" OEM, there will be tires available as along as you use the OEM size when ordering your wheels. just something to think about

Koya SF07 Staggered

http://www.koya.com.au/

They are very well made. Semi Forged. Very light. And also alot cheaper than other brands.

it's almost hard to believe you can look at a 21" wheel on a panamera and think it's not too big at all. nice look.

If you go with 21's you've got choices from Conti, Pirelli, and Michelin. If you jump up to 22's that narrows down the option to strictly Pirelli P Zero GT and those have always been readily available for years.

Yep absolutely.
Ride comfort is not at all compromised going from the factory 20" up to 21".

Especially with these rims, the steering and overall car felt much lighter and a little more agile to drive over the factory 20s, which as an overall package was heavier. These 21s were lighter.

And they are made by HRE so you have both the looks and the durability to match.

didn't know that ANRKY wheels were made by HRE. so, they are contracted out on the production only - not affiliated directly with HRE?

price on that split 5 spoke?

ANRKY is designed, engineered, and manufactured by HRE. It is a private label for them. Here is an extremely cool must-see video:

Will PM you now with pricing.

21" wheels def better IMHO on Panny's. Not too small that the car dwarfs the wheel like 19's not too large looking like running on rubber bands.
