Panamera Alarm Goes off
My 2011 Panamera alarm goes off when I open the door after locking it. My horn would usually beep but that has stopped also. I know my neighbors are tired of hearing my alarm early in the morning . Anyone else have this issue?

How is your battery charge? Is it the original battery? (mine was and after I replaced it several little things 'went away' and started working normally again)

My driver door did that and Porsche had to replace the handle and paint it |
I purchased it used so I dont know what battery came with with it but the charge is fine. It locks but doesn't beep anymore and i have to immediately turn the fake key to turn off the alarm.

Same exact scenario. I bought a 2011 PTT and the battery seemed fine, but I also experienced a few “little issues” including the alarm going off a few times for no reason. I replaced the battery and everything fixed itself. When I brought the original back for the core refund I had it tested and was told it was pretty much done. I’d definitely start with a new battery... Good luck. |
Thanks for the info. I will take it in to have it tested today. Its very annoying have to jump in and turn off the alarm.

Battery tested good with 85% charge so I have no idea. I will probably pull the fuse on the alarm and just lock it up.

I would assume You need a new door handle, I took mine to the dealer and they went through all the motions and it hasn’t done it since |
Just touch the inside of the rear door handle before opening the drivers. You’ll hear it unlock |
