Any with panamera 971 wheels on panamera 970
Anyone running the 21in Exclusive Design 971 wheels(or any OEM 21's) on the older 970 panameras? I'm liking these...alot.

yes, they are very nice. 2017, a friend of mine wanted to sell his original pan 20" wheels to me for a garage sale. I asked the forum about the possible to swap my 2016 pan4 19" wheel out with 2017 20" wheels. Somebody in the forum suggested that the combination of offset ratio front and rear and the width size will make the PDK and diff works harder. So I decided not to get my friend's wheels.
Local Porsche Dealer would not recommend me to swap the wheels. So let us know what you learn from other reliable source. Sometimes, I see fantastic discount of 2017/2018 Pan wheels set for sale including rims and tires from the owners.

Interesting about the PDK and it makes sense, but I was thinking...what makes it different from buying aftermarket wheels with different offsets, larger diameters(22s), and even with some running spacers on their OEMs. Not unless, ehh... I guess people that do run aftermarket wheels, spacers, etc are subject to some ride performance, PDK performance or any performance lost. After thinking about it, just car nature i suppose in losing performance with any changes from original specs.
