Exhaust clip down pipe install

greetings friends,

wanted to to share my exhaust clip of a warm start after my last eat mods on my panamera TT. It really sounds great after the install Especially with the valves open on the sport exhaust. Also is a video of me racing a 18 ZL1 at the track.. I ran a 11.9, this was before the down pipes..

current mods-
bmc air filter
agency diverter valves
agency y pipe
FVD catless down pipes

I have cat-less FVD downpipes and they really do open the car up. They are in conjunction with Akrapovic Evo exhaust and it really sounds incredible. Your's sound excellent as well with the OEM PSE.

Thank you for sharing.
Did it help the car spool up faster ?
While my TTS is quick, it comes nowhere close in responsiveness compared to my 911TT.
There's obviously the factor of the weight, but still, the car feels somehow subdued compared to my modded 911.
I currently run the FVD flash + BMC filter on the Panamera Turbo S

It feels like it hits a little harder, but my car isn’t flashed so I’m hoping to run the 1/4 again with the current mods, then again with the flash and see the time. I’m either going with vivid or the FVD tune.

So you bought the downpipe + H pipe and connected to OEM sports exhaust ? That's what I intend to do.
Down pipe install must be a pain. Just did my first maintenance and its pretty packed in there.
Did you install it yourself ?

How do you guys get passed the O2 sensor?

no only the down pipes cat bypass from FVD it was like 1600 shipped. It is connected to the stock resonator which I think has a h pipe inside. I did not install my self because I don’t have a lift I had a local shop that usually does bmw do it. And yes it was a pain, because 2 bolts broke off and he had some trouble getting them out. I paid $500 for install but if you have a lift you can do it yourself there is some instructions from fan speed floating around on the web.

yes but I’m not flashed I used o2 spacers from eBay $8 for two and they work get the 90* ones and it will work fine no cel.

Ok now I’m confused, one flash one added sensors...

i have have no idea how flash can accommodate no cat, as the downstream sensor is supposed to adjust air/fuel based on what gets by the cat. How would flash adjust on the fly unless it puts a “baseline” in of what the real reading should be then adjust on the deviation, but that could potentially have real negative effects on the engine?

lol, when you flash you can adjust parameters so you won’t throw a cel for the 02 sensor post cat.

You will enjoy that setup. DP install IS a PAIN. If the car sees and winter weather be prepared to replace broken studs in the turbos.

I really do not understand your comment about the turbo issues. Can you please elaborate ?

Removal of the mounting studs is tricky as the tend to snap when force is applied. See here studs with nuts in place: https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3752/...0768f091_h.jpg
Take care when removing by not using air tools if possible and pre-soak with penetrating spray such as PB blaster or WD-40.

so far NO ISSUES with studs, and I don't understand at all why should be such .... except smell of fuel and bigger fuel consumption, but this might be related to FVD flash
