970 TT FVD or Vivid tune. Which one?

Greetings fellow panamera owners. After 5 months of owning the car and supporting mods installed, I am about ready to purchase a tune for my panamera TT. I have narrowed it down to two after research and of course economics. Both of these are at the bottom end of the market with the vivid at $1500 and the FVD at $1000. I realize there are other options but I canít reason spending upwards of $2-$3.5k on a tune for this car. I hear that FVD has great customer service and support for the tunes. Can any owners who currently have these tune share insight and track times of you have them. Thank you.

I recently purchased a 2011 PTT and opted for the FVD tune. I am thoroughly pleased with the performance and the customer service. The car drives amazing! My best friend was so impressed he found a similar car to buy and will be installing the FVD tune this weekend.

I just bought a ďDragyĒ gps timer - supposedly very accurate. Iím very impressed with the initial runs of 3.35 sec 0-60 and 11.27 1/4 mile time at 122.91 MPH.

Only mods so far are the IPD plenum and tune. I may be looking at the down pipes for the future. Another plus with FVD is that they will send a ďre-flashĒ for free to support future mods.

Similar experience here with FVD. I have their flashes on both my 996TT and Panamera Turbo S. Their programmers are ex-Bosh and will provide you with an exiting upgrade which will not destroy your engine or other components. Why pay more at other places ?
Rhonda, their front office person, is a pleasure to work with.

Does FVD offer a handheld now, or do you still have to send in the ECU to Germany?

I just did FVD tune and bmc filter and I am extremely pleased. Rhonda was great and the tune was easy to load. No issues whatsoever
