Huge 2010-2016 Panamera Recall
#47
Not necessarily true - recall effects 2010-2016 years. Best bet is to run your VIN and/or wait to see if you receive notification from PCNA.

I did noticed a good amount of condensation on the vent trim when I ran the AC yesterday. With that said, it makes sense that it can short out the AC blower. Also, I seem to think that this is the root cause that anyone seem to have the "AC not cooling".
I'm fine with it shorting out and not working, but that rare occasion or 1% chance of fire has me constantly checking on the garage and the car every 30mins
I can refrain from the using the AC until the replacement part has arrived, i dont mind rolling around with all windows down, sunroof open . It's difficult however, with the wife and kids in the car. The humidity here in the east coast contributes more to that condensation too.

See this thread #8 regarding the interim fix that is applied, if applicable. It involves a retrofit relay kit.
I had the interim fix installed while my A/C leak was being addressed due to a puncture in the condenser.

interim fix was done on my 14 Panamera Turbo Executive. They said they may or may not do the final update depending on what Porsche Corporate says since the situation is resolved.

Yea I called the service guy and you know them they are like well it has nothing to do with the tempature or the AC it has to do with the blower motor... but I mean come on it’s working fine and now it’s like 5 degrees cooler with the AC button, I knew I shouldn’t of had them fix it. So now I’m sure it’s ****ing $190 an hour to figure out what’s wrong with it.
