Anyone Here Running 10's In The Panamera?

Hey guys,

I was wondering who here has broken that 10 sec mark after modding their PTT or PTTs. So far my fastest pass completely stock has been 11.91 @ 117.3 MPH with a 1.6 60ft.

If you've broken 10s or come close list your mods so we can all follow suite.

Attached is my stock 2011 PTT fastest pass

You can achieve low 11s with a tune and catless downpipes, IPD plenum and some other small mods. 10s you will most likely need bigger turbos,and/or methanol, and/or PDK upgrade.

There are a lot of low 11 second results I could find but not very many in the 10s. There may be many capable of it but have not taken it to the track. Personally, I did the standard tune, IPD plenum and filter. The stock PTT can pick up a ton with a tune but a PTTS picks up marginally. I hit an 1/8mile track and best I could do was 7.3 @ 97 MPH with a decent 1.71 60 foot. That was a no-prep night (much better with street tires). I did hit a quarter mile track but could not use the launch control since that resulted in a bog thanks to no grip. Best, flat footing it from idle was 11.8@122 with a 1.9 60 foot. Left a lot on the table. While I was there, I tried a lot of the modes to see what differences would occur. Traction was an issue. Michelins and VHT do not mix well. 1/8th mile times were way up to 7.8 to 8.0 between 92 to 94 mph. Launch control, if the grip allows, makes a huge difference. All of the times I got aligned to the Draggy results. On the street, afterwards, a couple of test hits resulted in the standard 11.3x@ 123 MPH.

Sport mode, traction on, off idle - 12.1
Sport Plus mode, traction on, off idle - 11.8
Sport Plus mode, traction off, off idle - 12.0
Sport Plus mode, traction off, launch control - 12.1

Thanks for the information. Based on your mph in the 8th you are leaving alot of the table.

My thoughts are 10s are possible with a full bolt / tune on car in the right DA, with the right tire and a 1.5 60ft.

Hopefully I can make it happen....
