Cars For The Cure event wkend (Feb 11th-13th..Orlando area)
 

After much great success with February 04s spur of the moment Southern Fried Meet, We have decided to truely put some effort into this one :cool: I promise you will not be disapointed ;) As a board member of a non profit here in town it was a no brainer for me to give this event a purpose aside from just having fun !
With that said, I'm proud to give you www.CarsForTheCure.com

This event is being heavily promoted to the public so you can expect crowds (free to the public) Makes & Models magazine full page ads-Jan/Feb & article of event, Clear Channel outdoor prominent Billboards, Clear Channel Radio w/ possible personality at event,Local ABC affiliate numerous TV spots 2wks out from event, various other Central Florida magazines & newspaper ads and coverage... The venue is beautiful Colonial TownPark at Heathrow/Lake Mary Fl... Several sponsors already on board aside from the media...Ferrari & Maserati of CF...Porsche & Mercedes of Orlando...Ultimate MotorWorks(Lambo,Bently, Rolls Royce)....and the list is growing and theres "still" time to become a sponsor to those interested.
Know this, there is a modest fee for entry but it goes to a great cause (ill kids to camp) ....check it out, and register..This is the ONE :eek: :cool:

I am soooo there.

I can say with 100% confidence that this show is going to kick asz!!! To bad I can't make it this year. :(

For sure can't make the Friday event, but I am working on the weekend. I really can't tell this far out, but I am going to do my best to be there for sure!!!

hampton inn? is there any thing nicer in the area to stay?

Yes there is... There is a brand new Marriott thats right across the street that we'll be adding to the site for discounted stays. I know what you mean with the hampton Inn & Suites but its right on property and brand new. I'll get some other options also :cool:

last year at portofino hotel was nice , no problem taking my family there for a few days. lots of things for them to do in close range so that i can play the the cars. why lake mary and not something in orlando?

I am with Steve, Let's go back to the Portofino.

Colonial TownPark in Heathrow/Lake Mary (seminole County, North Orlando) is a brand new "Village" of upscale shops, restaurants, cafes, brick streets etc... It's a nice location and they are welcoming us and closing down the streets for our deal along with sponsoring in many ways :cool: We'll have other hotel options as everything around Orlando is a 15 minute I-4 drive on the "weekends"....

I stayed at the Marriott last time I came through Lake Mary. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Much better than the Courtyard I used to stay in when passing through town.

I know a lot of these cars have changed looks,performance or hands since only February....It'll be interesting to see all the changes since the last. We're all mod crazy car junkies..hilarious
