Take a step back in time and view the world through the windshield of a 1929 Duesenberg as The Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with a classic car show and family carnival on Sunday, May 7, 2006 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on the fields of North School and Crocker Middle School.

I had a chance to bike past there on Sunday. It is a really nice scene. This year was their 50th anniversary for this event; all cars participating were 50+ years old and many cars were fabulous, including old race cars. (There is room for new cars displayed by dealers with Rector showing a Boxster and Topline detailers showing off a customer's nice GT3). My only regret was having to pack light and not having room for my camera. Nevertheless, biking there is highly recommended as parking on the streets by midday will force you to walk a mile to the entrance.

Went there with Fred in his Cayman,
everyone kept stopping us as we were looking to park to compliment the Cayman... even the Hillsborough Police ;-)
Paid $15 to park and we were right in, no long walk ;-)

Was a good show
