For those of you who are interested in a caravan from NYC/LI to the Jersey starting point make yourself known......

Also let us know your ideal meeting location....from what I know edge water is closer to the George Washington Bridge, so I'm thinking somewhere on Riverside Drive?

I'm up for a caravan. Looking at Mapquest it looks like Lincoln tunnel might be a little quicker since you won't be going all the way up to the bridge just to come back.

If the LI guys are coming thru the tunnel then 35 between 7th & 8th should be quiet at that time and a direct shot to the tunnel.

If they are coming over the 59th st bridge then we could meet up in the East 50s. (Pee stop in my garage might be helpful) Also should be quiet.

I do suggest to take Lincoln Tunnel - much less traffic on your way up from the tunnel to Edgewater, plus brand new, two-lane streets.

I know a bunch of LI/BK/SI people are meeting up starting from the Mobile gas station on Belt and SI Mall, to caravan together to Edgewater.
